Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on the service or any time you contact us.
The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make and the products and feature you use. The personal information we collect may include the following: email addresses; names; and other similar information. All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
We collect information regarding your geolocation, mobile device, push notifications when you use our App.
If you use our App or website, we also collect the following information:

Geolocation information: We may request access or permission to location-based information from your mobile device, either continuously or while you are using our App, to provide certain location-based services. This provides the ability to enter in obstructions, hazards and unsafe events, and ensure information is not entered fraudulently. If you wish you change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.

Mobile Device Access: We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s camera and other features. This is to provide you with the ability to share an image of obstructions, hazards and unsafe events with other users of SafePath. If you wish to change our access or permissions you may do so in your device’s settings.

Push Notifications: We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features in the App. This will only be used to support entries and verifications of entries such as confirm an obstruction is still present. If you wish to opt-out from receiving these types of communication, you may turn them off in your device’s settings.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our App, for entry of your observations and experiences to the shared database.
Information Use
We process your information for purposes to provide details about obstructions, hazards and unsafe events. We process your personal information for legitimate business purposes. In order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations. We indicate the specific processing grounds we rely on next to each purpose listed below.
To facilitate account creation and logon process: If you choose to create an account, we use only your first name and email address. This information will only be used to create and reset your account on your device.
Request feedback: We may use your information in order to contact you about the use of our Services. We will only contact you if you opt-in to receive communication from us.
To manage user accounts: We may use your information for the purpose of managing our account and keeping it in working order.
Opt-in Communication: To respond to user inquiries/offer support to users. We may use your information to respond to your inquiries and solve any potential issues you may have with the use of our Services.
For other business purposes: We may use your information for other business purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns and evaluating and improve our Services, products, marketing and your experience. We may use and store this information in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end-users and does not include personal information. We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
